Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts that meet quality and production standards. This role requires strong machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and machine offsets
Perform first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring tools
Edit CNC programs at the machine as needed (G-code experience preferred)
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot machining issues
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet specifications
Complete production documentation and follow safety procedures
Perform routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organized

Qualifications
2+ years of CNC machining experience (preferred)
Experience with CNC Mills and/or Lathes
Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T is a plus
Proficient with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments
Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, or similar controls is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Reliable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills
CNC programming experience is a plus
Experience machining metals such as steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices
