JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

 

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

1.                   Design, plan, manufacture, alter and repair a variety of tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and dies as requested.

 

2.                   Set-up and operate all CNC equipment.

 

3.                   Program and troubleshoot as required all CNC equipment.

 

4.             Perform tool try outs and fit, trim and adjust as necessary.

 

5.             Diagnose and troubleshoot manufacturing tooling as requested.

 

6.             Set up perforation equipment and related dies as requested and run proof tests to ensure product     quality.

 

 

7.             Perform maintenance on welding fixtures and perforating tooling.

 

8.             Maintain appropriate levels of shop supplies including perishable tools.

 

9.             Maintain all shop equipment in first class condition and assist in preventive maintenance program.

 

10.          Perforate belts as required.

 

11.          Follow all good housekeeping standards and safety practices.

 

12.          Perform other duties as directed.

13.          Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

 

14.          Have a specific understanding of the persons or resources to seek out for direction and assistance   in complying to the following clauses:  4.3, 4.4, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7, 4.8, 4.10, 4.12, 4.13, 4.15, 4.16,             4.18, 4.20 in the Quality Manual.

 

15.          Have a thorough understanding of Industrios WPI# 29 Export Control Compliance Manual.

 

16.          Have a thorough understanding of the following sections of the Quality Manual and their corresponding operating procedures:

 

Section 4 Quality Management System

Section 5 “Quality Policy” and Customer Focus

Section 6 Resource Management “Work Environment, ref: Safety Policies”

Section 7.5 Production and Service Provision

Section 7.6 Control of Monitoring and Measurement Devices

Section 8 Measurement, Control of Nonconforming Product, Improvement
